SAG-AFTRA actor (as seen on HBO's "Veep"), Chris began his educational theater career in 1992, bringing Shakespeare to life for students K-12. In 1994, he started his own company "The Renaissance Man" and began touring the country with a range of original, well-researched, curriculum-supportive educational resources based on a wide variety of literature and history.
His natural ability to impart lesson-centered information in a way that's both entertaining and memorable has made him a favorite colleague of veteran educators across the nation. Chris also provides extended school residencies and theatrical coaching, giving students an in-depth encounter with curriculum elements, via hands-on experience with the process of theater arts.
He has created unique Drama and Improvisation classes for summer camps and students in the 4 - 12, as well as Juggling for Athletes and a crash course in Comedy History & Structure. Past classes have been hosted by Episcopal Academy (Newtown Square PA), Agnes Irwin Summer Session (Villanova PA) and Imagination Stage (Bethesda MD).
